You can change your mind. This page explains how to cancel an order, how to send a ride-on back, and what happens if something arrives damaged.

Your right to cancel

Under EU consumer law you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This is called the cooling-off period.

How to return a ride-on

1. Email info@kiddo.ie with your order number and the item you want to return.
2. We reply with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send anything back before we reply.
3. Pack the ride-on securely, in its original box if you still have it.
4. Send it back within 14 days of telling us. We recommend a tracked courier.

Condition of returned items

• You can unpack and check the ride-on as you would in a shop.
• Please do not use it outdoors before you decide to return it.
• If the item comes back used or damaged, we may reduce the refund to cover the loss in value.

Return delivery cost

You pay the cost of sending the item back to us. Ride-ons are large, heavy parcels, so please ask us for the return cost before you send it. Please check the size, age and weight details before you order.

Refunds

• We email you when we receive your return.
• We refund you within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
• If you cancel within the 14-day period, we refund the standard delivery cost as required by law.

Damaged or wrong items

If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email info@kiddo.ie as soon as possible with your order number and photos. There is no 48-hour limit on your legal rights. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund, and we cover the return cost.

Faults after use

If a ride-on develops a fault, email info@kiddo.ie with:

• your order number and the product code
• a description of the problem
• clear photos, and a short video that shows the fault
• whether the item has been used or assembled

We normally reply within 48 hours (2 working days). We may ask you to do some simple checks first. Please do not send the item back until we give you instructions.

Warranty

• Ride-on batteries: 6-month warranty.
• Spare parts: 12-month warranty.

The warranty covers faults from normal use. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse or neglect, water damage, or repairs by someone else. The warranty is extra. Your legal rights under Irish and EU consumer law are not affected.
